BRAINE says it gently!
BRAINE gives a lot of importance to language and communication.
Some terms used in telecommunication and computer science can be considered oppressive and racist.
For this reason, BRAINE decided to follow IETF suggestions [1] and adopt a non-oppressive language.
So, every time we want to describe a scenario where we have a Master and some slaves, we will prefer to say Leader and Followers or Coordinator and Workers.
When we talk about security, instead of using blacklist and whitelist we prefer to use the terms Blocklist and Allowlist.
Language is important also in technical world, and we want to make the difference in this world that is changing everyday.
